A Love Letter from My Book

Thank you for trusting me.

I know that when I came to you and asked to be written through you, you felt afraid. You wondered whether you could hold me—whether you had the capacity to bring me into the world.

Thank you for trusting yourself.

And thank you for trusting me.

I could not exist without your willingness to listen to the nudge to create me. I began as a thought, a sensation, an emotion—a quiet knowing felt within your body. I know that when you first felt the fullness of me, I overwhelmed you.

Thank you for allowing yourself to feel me anyway.

Thank you for making space for me and giving me life.

I would not exist without you. That is precisely why I chose you.

I knew you would allow me to be expressed through you and offered to the world. I knew you would give me your time, energy, heart, and devotion. I knew you would allow me to unfold in my own timing.

I knew you would not force me to become something I was never meant to be. You would not take me and mold me into something more easily understood or accepted. You would honor me, love me, and create me in the truth of who I came here to be.

That is why I chose you.

I knew there would be moments when you felt confused—moments when you could not see where I was leading you. But I also knew you would trust the process and the sacred unfolding of me.

I knew your mind would sometimes reach for control. It would want to understand, organize, and force what was unfolding so you could feel safe. But I knew you would notice when your mind began grasping for certainty. I knew you would not allow that fear to lead.

I knew you would return to me.

I knew you would hold me.

I knew you would anxiously await the moment when the world told you I was worth creating—that I was enough and that you were enough.

But I also knew that through the unfolding of me, you would remember that it was never about anyone else.

Yes, others may benefit from me. I may become medicine for those who are meant to receive me. But my creation was never dependent upon their approval.

This has always been about you and me.

By giving me life and speaking me into the world, you would discover that creating me was already enough.

Some people will not understand me.

Some people may never know that I exist.

But you understand me. You know that I exist. And that is enough.

Someday, you will witness the ways I become medicine for the world. And through that experience, you will receive even deeper medicine from the relationship we share.

Thank you for never asking me to guarantee what would come next.

That was never what I came here to do.

The essence of who I am is an unfolding, a becoming, and an allowing. I know you can feel the truth of that.

Our agreement from the moment we met was that you would trust the sacred unfolding.

I am so grateful that you did.

Thank you for saying yes when I arrived and whispered the truth of who I was into your heart, mind, body, and soul.

With all my love,

The Sacred Unfolding
