“I want a roof over my head”
“Right, but we don’t start building a house with a roof. If you don’t build a solid foundation and base then the roof won’t stay up or offer shelter.”
The concept is easy to understand, right? We all want a roof over our heads and we also all understand that a house is never built by starting with the roof. Sometimes, I get questions about why I don’t just start by teaching mediumship or receiving messages. The answer is the same, I know that you want the roof but we don’t start building the roof to get a house. We start with a solid base. We start by understanding the basics and integrating that information, building on it as we go.
We start by understanding vibration levels, how to raise them and what impacts them. We move on to understanding that we are an empath, what that functionally means for us and how to have a self care practice that supports our ability. We learn to ground, we can’t possibly open our upper chakras if our root chakra is not functioning effectively. We learn how to create a psychic hygiene program, follow it and adjust it. We learn how to create and hold sacred space, using the tools that you previously learned. You learn to see your shadow, address your shadow, heal your wounds and stop letting your shadow control you. You sink into inner child healing, you love yourself and heal yourself. You learn to manifest and realize how powerful you are. Then, you learn to receive messages.
So, if you want a roof over your head then I recommend that you start by building a solid foundation. That way, when you get the roof over your head you will be able to use it.
