“I just don’t believe that the universe cares that much about me. We don’t see eye to eye on that.” He said.
My truth never has to be another person's truth. Likewise, someone else’s truth doesn’t have to be mine.
He laughed and said that as soon as he said that the sky got super dark. There was a rainstorm right then, but there was a stark difference in the darkness that was almost immediately following his statement.
I laughed back at him and asked him if he took that as a sign from the universe.
“Maybe” he said back.
His truth isn’t mine. That’s ok. It’s more than ok. I will always be the person who says “that’s a sign from the universe”. My truth is that there are messages and signs around us all of the time, we just have to be open to them. So, maybe the sky just happened to get dark at that moment or maybe that was a sign from the universe.
I’ll always happily take my signs but that doesn’t mean that anyone else should.
