The moment that I conceived you, I knew that you would change my life for the better.

The night that I gave birth to you, I knew love in a way that I had never experienced before.

There is a uniqueness to the way that you move through the world that is unlike anything that I have ever experienced before. You think differently. You move differently. You feel differently. You see the world differently. You see yourself differently.

You honor your authenticity in a way that I have never witnessed a human embody authenticity before. It takes my breath away to watch you have such a deep and strong sense of self that you never waver from who you are.

I have built my life and my business around honoring uniqueness and authenticity, but it was you who taught me that. You have been unafraid of who you are and the way that you move through the world from the second that you were born. Sometimes, I wonder if I can parent you the way that you need to be parented because I know that you are here to change the world but then I just watch you move through life and I realize that the only thing that I need to do is love you with every ounce of my being and surrender into the pathway of life that you are clearly already on.

You taught me how to love.

You taught me how to parent.

You taught me how to feel in a way that I didn’t know was possible.

You taught me how to think outside of the box.

You taught me how to honor and love the uniqueness inside of me and the uniqueness inside of everyone who I cross paths with.

While I may have given you life, you taught me how to live, and I will forever be grateful that you picked me as your mum in this human experience.
