Many of us enter a new year by setting goals from the mind alone.

We decide what we should accomplish, what our lives should look like, or who we believe we need to become.

But an intention created only by the mind may not reflect the truth held within the heart, body, and soul.

An intention can sound good and still feel disconnected from who we are.

It can reflect what we think we should want rather than what we genuinely desire.

It can ask the body to hold something it does not yet feel safe receiving.

It can move us toward an achievement while carrying us further away from ourselves.
