Dear Universe/God,

I saw a canvas that you painted and it took my breath away. It was simply stunning. The colors, the texture, the detail, the energy, it was nothing short of perfection. I see what you are capable of creating when you are allowed to be the artist who you are. I know that in the past I have asked you to paint for me, but then tried to control what kind of painting you painted. I realize now that in trying to control what kind of painting you created that it resulted in me limiting the depth, breadth, and intensity of the painting that you could create for me which left me feeling disappointed in the painting that I received. I am ready to release control. I am ready to surrender and simply allow you to be the phenomenal artist who you are without limitations placed on your ability to paint. I am ready to allow myself to see the beauty of what you can create for me in this life. And, I realize that I am the canvas that you are painting!
